Baby Boy May 6th - 20 lbs and gorgeous! Definitely herdsire potential!

Turning Tide's Nina Ricci - DOB: Jan 5, 2003. Colour: white pregnant female. Sire: Acero Marka's Rockamundo Dam: Thetis Coco Chanel. Nina has wonderful soft fibre and excellent coverage as is evidenced by her unshorn picture. She also produces cria with exceptional fibre. Her sire is possibly the finest fibred male ever imported into North America. At 20 months, Rockamundo's AFD was 13.6 and at 8 years it was still only 20 microns. Nina's dam is our very dark brown Coco Chanel whose is out of a rose grey dam. We bred Coco to Rock twice and got Nina, a white female and Tilly, a dark fawn female. Same genetics but two very different colours. Nina's full older sister has produced two show winning cria, a grey and a black with our grey male. and now Nina is following the tradition with her last cria Seranno who took 2nd in a large class of fawn males. Nina is bred to Music Man son of Batido S151 ALOA and Miss Minuette. Music man is 3/4 Peruvian and 1/4 Bolivian. His lineage goes back to Peruvian Oro on his sire's side and Peruvian Guellermo on his dam's side. Nina produced a stunning boy, Angelo, on May 6th. Phoebe Cates - DOB: March 1, 1994 Color: white Imported from Chile. Phoebe is a strong female with an excellent birthing history and a very beautiful alpaca face. She was hand-picked to come to North American because of her fine fiber (at 2 years of age she was 15.7 microns) and her excellent coverage. She is definitely a foundation animal and would be perfect for a new breeder wanting to ensure quality in their breeding program. Phoebe just produced an absolutely gorgeous little boy out of multi-ribbon winner Almanzo . This little guy is stunning and definitely deserves a show career. We are rebreeding Phoebe to Almanzo so you can expect another gorgeous baby in 2008. Phoebe is offered for $6,000.


 

Roc-Quelle - DOB: September 28, 1998 Colour: white pregnant female Sire: Acero Marka's Rockamundo Dam: Clll Rebecca. Hidden treasures take a little while to find. But find her we did. This sweet little girl is a daughter of Rockamundo who is possibly the finest fibred male ever imported into North America. Her male cria of 2004 shows that she forwards on the magnificent genes of her sire. It appears that the ultrasound was incorrect as we didn't get a baby this year so we are rebreeding Roc-Quelle for a fall 2008 cria. Offered at $7,000.

Farrah Fawcett - DOB: April 1, 1994. Colour: white. Sire: unknown. Dam: unknown. Farrah is a direct import from Chile and definitely a foundation quality female. This type of top quality producer does not come on the market very often so don't dismiss her because of age. Every cria she produces is worthy of note. She has given us some of our best alpacas and is the Granddam of most of our herd. Farrah is bred to Clearview's Santo and is due June 10, 2007. $6,500.00.

Helena - Pregnant female DOB: May 21, 2003 female Color: white with brown spots ARI 1055047 Sire: Peruvian Sonny S124 Dam: Ariel. Helena is a well built fancy female with her sires wonderful fibre. She just produced an absolutely stunning fancy male out of well known Bolivian Sky Pilot's son, Horizon and is being rebred to Horizon for another stunning cria in 2008 cria. $6,000.


Desiree's Josephine - DOB: Sept. 07, 2004. Colour: light fawn. Sire: PCA Palomino Dam: Ebony's Desiree. This is a very classy half-Peruvian pregnant female. She is very typey, with beautiful, dense fibre. Her dam is a striking true-black and her sire is the son of PPeruvian Accoyo Camilio and Pperuvian Palomita. Last June Josephine birthed her first cria, a gorgeous girl named Solstice, out of Saltspring Winston. Ebony's Jasmine - DOB: June 13, 2005. Colour: medium fawn. Sire: PCA Palomino. Dam: Jacaranda's Ebony. This is a half-Peruvian girl with a nice calm temperament. Her dam is a true black and her sire is the son of Peruvian Accoyo Camilio. Jasmine birthed a gorgeous little female, Luz Estrella, out of Saltspring Winston. Winston, the son of 4Peruvian Pachacuti, is a strong-boned and extremely dense male. We have bred Jasmine back to Winston and look forward to another gorgeous cria in summer of 2008. Turning Tide's Chantilly Lace - DOB: October 27, 1999. Colour: dark fawn. Sire: Acero Marka's Rockamundo. Dam: Thetis Coco Chanel. Tilly is the mother of Champions! She has nice fine fibre and excellent coverage. Her fibres stats in April of 2001 were AFD 20.1 SD 4.5 CV 22.2 with %>30 at 2.6 and in April of 2004 her fibre stats were AFD 23.0 SD 4.6 CV 19.9 with %>30 at 6.3. It is obvious that Tilly is holding her fine fibre which is a trait sought after by alpaca breeders. Two of her daughters (one grey and one black) each took Reserve Champion at the 2006 Pacific Coast Breeders Network show. Her grey daughter took first in class and overall Juvenile Reserve Champion at the 2005. Her black daughter to Reserve Colour Champion and Colour Champion two years in a row. Tilly is open at present but will be rebred in the spring. Offered at $9,500.


 

Karma Kazzee - DOB: August 2002 Colour: dark fawn Sire: Westwool's Superman.Dam: Alicia's Tiana ( out of Peruvian Anthoni who is out of Pperuvian Leon and Peruvian Kappa) Great bloodlines on this young lady. Her dam and sire both carry Accoyo blood and she is bred to full Peruvian, half Accoyo,Accoyo El Moustachio son Saltspring Perfection . Sarkay - Pregnant female DOB: March 28, 1995. Colour: Maroon. Sire: Redcloud. Dam: Nalanie. Sarkay is a gorgeous deep maroon colour. Her fibre is very, very soft. She is a great mother, delivers well and has lots of milk for her cria. She is also a very good guard alpaca. She sees everything that goes on around the whole farm and down the street. Sarkay just birthed a little girl out of PSA Lord Buckingham Brew, a light rose grey male out of the Cperuvian Zhivago line and Melena Brew (out of NGG Lional). She is now rebred full Peruvian, half Accoyo herdsire RFA Skywalker. Sarkay with her female cria, Pipi, at side is offer for $9,000.

Ilsa - DOB: June 23, 2004 Pregnant female ARI 1055153 Colour: medium brown Sire: Ray Brown C382 (suri) Dam: Schnitzel Ilsa is a large striking female with great potential. She surprised us with a lovely male on June 9th and is being rebred. We will have to wait for DNA to see if the daddy is Bismark or Horizon. Both are great studs as is evident with Ilsa's Fredrick. $7,000 US.

 


 

Meadow Nina - DOB: June 30, 2000 Colour: medium brown with white on face and feet Sire: Wooded Hills Jalapeno Pepper Dam: Meadow Sanchera. Nina has a lovely alpaca face, nice fibre and excellent conformation. She just produced another extremely cute fancy boy out of our multi-ribbon winner Almanzo . Almanzo has consistently placed in the show ring competing in a total of six halter competitions from 1999-2001 and placing each time. Susan Tellez spoke of his fleece - "extreme density and extreme expression of crimp, very uniform throughout" Almanzo's fleece still feels like butter at 7 years of age. Nina's new little boy has excellent conformation and fantastic fibre. We are planning on showing him in the spring. Nina is being rebred to Almanzo for another amazing cria in fall of 2008. Rhapsody's Sonnet - DOB: July 4, 2004. Colour: true black. Sire: PCA Palomino. Dam: Jacaranda's Rhapsody. Sonnet is a beautiful true black half Peruvian pregnant female. Her dam is also true black and her sire is out of well known Peruvian Accoyo Camilio. Last summer Sonnet birthed a gorgeous dark brown female, Java's Delight, out of Saltspring Winston and is rebred to Winston for another great cria in summer of 2008. Winston, the son of 4Peruvian Pachacuti, has heavy bone structure and a very dense fleece. Offered at $9,000.

Charity - DOB: Sept. 21, 2002 Colour: black 3/4 Bolivian female Sire: Acero Marka's Alfonso Dam: Tammy-B (out of Acero Marka's Bernard) Charity is a 3/4 Bolivian black from black parents. She has excellent coverage and good conformation. Her AFD at nearly two years of age was 22.1. She produced a lovely male in 2006 out of grey Mario and proved to be an excellent mother. Charity is being bred to multi-ribbon winner Almanzo for an fall 2008 cria.
