Cherie - DOB: Oct. 2, 2007. Colour: dark brown (mahogany) and whtie. Sire: Major-B. Dam: Laurie's Bella. Cherie is a lovely little female with wonderful deep mahogany fibre. She had a pretty rough start to life with loosing her mom at 3 weeks old. This little girl is a real survivor. She continually bugged another mom until she adopted her. They became so attached that you could not tell which was the natural cria and which the adopted one. Cherie has grown well and is shaping up to be a very valuable female with excellent character to her fleece and reasonable density. Her sire is dark fawn, full Bolivian, Major-B whose fibre is very fine and his fleece is very dense. (His fibre stats on March 11, 2003 were AFD 19.5 SD 4.5 CV 22.8 with 1.9 microns over 30. On April 14, 2004 his fibre stats were AFD 22.1 SD 5.5 CV 24.8 with 5.2 microns over 30.) Cherie's mom was true black with a bit of white on her like Cherie. Definitely lots of colour in this girl's background and she has the potential to offer very superior offspring. Offered at $4,500 (registered ARI only)

Baby Boy May 6th - 20 lbs and gorgeous! Definitely herdsire potential!

Turning Tide's Nina Ricci - DOB: Jan 5, 2003. Colour: white pregnant female. Sire: Acero Marka's Rockamundo Dam: Thetis Coco Chanel. Nina has wonderful soft fibre and excellent coverage as is evidenced by her unshorn picture. She also produces cria with exceptional fibre. Her sire is possibly the finest fibred male ever imported into North America. At 20 months, Rockamundo's AFD was 13.6 and at 8 years it was still only 20 microns. Nina's dam is our very dark brown Coco Chanel whose is out of a rose grey dam. We bred Coco to Rock twice and got Nina, a white female and Tilly, a dark fawn female. Same genetics but two very different colours. Nina's full older sister has produced two show winning cria, a grey and a black with our grey male. and now Nina is following the tradition with her last cria Seranno who took 2nd in a large class of fawn males. Nina is bred to Music Man son of Batido S151 ALOA and Miss Minuette. Music man is 3/4 Peruvian and 1/4 Bolivian. His lineage goes back to Peruvian Oro on his sire's side and Peruvian Guellermo on his dam's side. Nina produced a stunning boy, Angelo, on May 6th. She can be rebred at her home or go to your special boy. Offered at $9,500.

SMA Cedar - DOB: June 3, 2000. Colour: white. Sire: 4Peruvian Accoyo's Juliaca. Dam: LCDA 512. Cedar is a large quiet girl. She was a very easy birther and a great mom with lots of milk. She is often the first "adult" to join the crias for an evening pronk. She's not fond of being touched, however she surrenders quickly and accepts what needs to be done. Cedar is Little Cleo's mom (our first born) who is a gorgeous dense girl. She is bred to WestWool's Brutus for a July 7 cria. Brutus is a full Peruvian son of Accoyo Cromwell who was the winner of the 1999 International fleece competition. You can expect a cria with dense fibre and good character from this pairing. Offered at $4,000.

SMA Willow - DOB: June 8, 2000. Colour: white. Sire: 4Peruvian Accoyo's Juliaca. Dam: LCDA 240. Willow is a very sweet but shy alpaca. She will eagerly come to you for a tastely apple; but will often protest any hands on procedures. She's very funny. You can hear her across the field most days telling another alpaca that they're too close or that she's not willing to share. She is a great mom with lots of milk. She is very protective of her cria and never lets them out of her sight. Willow is bred to WestWool's Brutus for a June 19 cria. Brutus is a full Peruvian son of Accoyo Cromwell who was the winner of the 1999 International fleece competition. This is a great combination and should produce a show quality cria. Offered at $4,000.

VWR P.J. - DOB: May 5, 2001. Colour: white. Sire: Bolivian First Class. Dam: DLA 729. P.J. is a very nice alpaca and easy to work with and around. She gave us Apollo 3rd and Stokley's Rebel who are both beautiful boys. Apollo had our best fibre results and we will be using him for a stud this year. We are thinking of showing Rebel whose fleece is very dense with a long staple length. You can expect nothing but beautiful offspring from our P.J. She is bred to SMA Victor for June 5 cria. Victor is a medium fawn son of Accoyo Juliaca. This girl would be a great addition to any herd. Offered at $3,000.
