We have a good supply of alpaca yarn in just about all the colours that alpacas come in. White, black, grey, fawn, brown and shades in between. We have finely woven 2 ply yarn as well as chunky yarn and regular sweater weight yarn.

Our yarn starts at $16 Cdn. per 100 grams (about 3.5 ounces).

Alpaca Fleece - new crop every year Prices for raw huacaya fleece start at $5 Cdn. per pound for coarse grade 6 up to $50 Cdn. per pound for Ultra Fine. We also have a small quantity of suri fibre available. There is a use for each grade of alpaca fibre however the lower the microns (diameter of individual fibres) the smoother the feel. For garments that are to be worn next to the skin we would suggest Grades 1 through 3 fibre. Grade 1 - <20 microns - Ultra Fine Grade 2 - 20-22.9microns - Super Fine Grade 3 - 23 - 25.9 microns - Fine Grade 4 - 26 - 28.9 micron - Medium Grade 5 - 29 - 31.9 microns - Strong Grade 6 - 32> - Coarse
